Beer is a simple pleasure and Canopy Beer Co brings good beer done well to Herne Hill. Visit the microbrewery for an evening talk with a Q&A, tour of the brewery, guided tastings of six of its beers and a bottle to take home. For one evening during the Festival The Great North Wood will be presenting a tasting menu from Executive Chef Oliver Marlowe and team (formerly from Michelin-starred Chez Bruce and The Glasshouse). Six courses of amazing modern-European dishes with an optional wine pairing in the new first-floor dining room.

Chilled-out café by day, ‘Chapati Slingers’ pop-up curry club by night. As part of its running programme of Thursday night events, The Parlour is teaming up with British-born Indian guest chef Kiren Lall to serve up a feast of vegetarian dishes with all the Indian trimmings.

5 Pintadera Café, West Norwood

This little Italian café and deli in West Norwood serves dishes and specialities mainly from Sardinia. Pintadera’s Natalia and Barbara, together with Stefania and Elisa, will be hosting a special evening event for Dulwich Festival and bringing the flavours of Sardinia to this unique and intimate local venue.
