Who wants a dinosaur egg nest for Afternoon Tea Week?

The Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington is launching its Jurassic Afternoon Tea in time for the week long celebration of this non-meal meal.
Although you might think this tea heralds the opening of Jurassic World later this month, it doesn't (although if you need another excuse, you're welcome).
The boutique five star hotel's tea follows on from its regular Science Afternoon tea, delving into the world of dinosaurs for keen palaeontologists, young and old.
It also celebrates Dippy the Dinosaur's homecoming to the nearby Natural Science Museum earlier this year after touring the UK to highlight the changing state of Britain's ecosystems.
Tuck into mini hot dogs, T-Rex cheese straws, dinosaur jam sandwiches and homemade scones.
There's also raspberry and lemon crémeux volcano eruption, a dark chocolate & caramel dinosaur egg nest, a mixed berries T-Rex footprint macaron, and a white chocolate and blackcurrant Jurassic mountain mousse, as well as a mini dinosaur biscuit and milk chocolate fossil.
Vegetarian and gluten-free versions of all tea sets are also available.
Children can enjoy a hot chocolate, and adults can as well. Alternatively, among the boozier options, try a Jurassic fantastic cocktail such as the gin-based Dino Sour or the tequila based T-Rex Mex.
The Jurassic Afternoon Tea is priced at £35 for children and from £49.50 for adults and is available Monday to Sunday, 12pm - 5:30pm in the hotel's Apero restaurant.
