As far as dream jobs go, getting paid to drink mulled wine and bask in the festive glory of some of the best Christmas markets in Europe and the UK is up there. Here’s your chance to apply for the wonderfully twee role of Christmas Market Tester…

Premier Inn is on the hunt for five Christmas Market Testers who will be the feet on the ground at festive markets around the UK, Ireland and Germany.
Each of the five successful applicants will report back once they’ve visited the market, explaining what they enjoyed most about it.
Testers will also take photos of the lights, stalls and decorations.
This information will then be used by the hotel brand in a report on the best locations for visiting Christmas markets.
For the lucky applicants, Premier Inn will contribute £150 to your trip – or £300 for Dublin and Frankfurt – as well as a stay at a nearby Premier Inn hotel with breakfast included.
To apply, tell Premier Inn about your last visit to a Christmas market and what you enjoyed about it most (250 words max.). Also include your top two preferred Christmas market locations.
