NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING) (DISTRICT OF CRAVEN) (AMENDMENT NO 10) ORDER 2016 NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing disabled persons' parking bays at the locations specified below:-Cross Hills
Beech Street (West Side) - From a point 3.8 metres north of the north channel line of Victoria Road, north for a distance of 6.6 metres. Ingleton
Bridge End (North Side) - From a point 53.0 metres south east of the intersection with the east junction of Oddies Lane, south east for a distance of 6.6 metres. Skipton
Castle Street (North Side) - From a point 12.5 metres west of the west channel line of Fairfax Street, east for a distance of 6.6 metres;
West Bank Road (East Side) - From a point 80.2 metres south of the south channel line of Gargrave Road, north for a distance of 6.6 metres; and
Princes Drive (North Side) - From a point 64.0 metres east of the east channel line of Rectory Lane, for a distance of 6.6 metres.
A copy of the draft Order, together with maps showing the roads affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at the following libraries during normal office hours from 9 June 2016 until 1 July 2016 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices:-Cross Hills Library, Main Street, Crosshills, Keighley BD20 8TQ; Ingleton Library, Ingleborough Community Centre, Main Street, Ingleton, Carnforth, Lancashire LA6 3HG; and Skipton Library, High Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 1JX.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to "Area 5 Highways Office, Snaygill Industrial Estate, Keighley Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 2QR" or by e-mail to area5.skipton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 1 July 2016.
