From new destination venues to neighbourhood bars, here are the best new restaurants, pubs and bars to try in London this November. 

1 The Wolseley City

This all-day dining destination will be every bit as glamorous as its sister restaurant on Piccadilly. Come for classic European dishes such as schnitzels, souffle Suisse and steak tartare, but also come to soak up the grand interiors featuring Byzantine chandeliers, Baroque ironwork and 1920s Egyptian touches. Opens November 8.

2 Le Deli Robuchon, Chelsea

An all-day French-style deli from Chef of the Year, Joel Robuchon’s restaurant group, serving cheese, wine, charcuterie, Frenc rotisserie chicken and salads to eat in and takeaway. This King’s Road location will also sell the cream-filled cube croissants available at the Piccadilly deli which went viral for their decadence. Opens November 6.

3 Pearly Queen, Shoreditch

The second restaurant from Tom Brown of the Michelin-starred Hackney Wick restaurant Cornerstone. Paying tribute to the East End’s fishy culinary traditions, this oyster bar and restaurant will serve both quick bites, and long leisurely meals. Open November 11.

4 Finch, Brixton

This new wine bar in Brixton Village is the latest venture from wine merchant company Grays and Feather, which also oversees Plume in Covent Garden. Expect unusual, vintage and experimental wines, as well as a menu of snacks and sharing plates of the likes of baked camembert and duck and cognac mousse. Open.

5 Bar Levan, Peckham

A relaxed European-style wine bar from the team behind the restaurant of the same name next door. With space for just 34 people, this snug bar serves up natural wines, a selection of mescals and aperitifs, alongside bar snacks of the likes of croque monsieur, charcuterie, cheese and rillettes. Opens November 23.

6 Wacky Wombat, Soho

Set up by French-born bartender behind Mace New York and Danico Paris, this subterranean Soho bar serves drinks made from native Australian ingredients. Sip on a Vegemite on Pisco or drinks made with gooseberry vinegar, lemon myrtle and golden beet in a bar that has a little bit of that Parisian style and Soho edge. Opens November 1.

7 Sune, Broadway Market

A new neighbourhood restaurant for London Fields at the foot of Broadway Markets, set up Honey Spencer and Charlie Sims who have worked at Copenhagen’s Noma, Lyle’s and Evelyn’s Table between them. Michael Robins (ex-Pidgin, Midland Grand and Acme Fire Cult) will lead the kitchen in preparing an European-style menu for lunch, brunch or dinner. Opening late November.

8 Bone Daddies, Leicester Square

The jacked up ramen bar has opened its latest site in central London. Come for a bowl of uber ramen – try the friend chicken with cock scratchings – but add a bao bun or two and a serve of dirty tater tots while you’re at it. Open.

9 Tamil Crown, Islington

The team behind Michelin Guide recommended Desi pub, The Tamil Prince, will expand on their winning recipe of combining the best of British boozers with a really good curry house. The Tamil Crown takes over the Charles Lamb pub on Elia Street and retain the feel of a pub, while serving Indian and Tamil mains and bar snacks across the venue’s two floors. Opens November 18.

10 Il Gattopardo, Mayfair

A glamour-drenched Italian restaurant with an interior filled with ornate embellishment, artwork and sculptures. The menu is classic Italian, with compact list covering all bases. Open.

11 Noci, Shoreditch

The third Noci location behind Islington and Battersea Power Station, this pasta joint by ex-Bancone crew continues serving handmade pasta and Sicilian street food. Try the brown shrimp and ricotta raviolo or silk handkerchiefs with beef and marsala jus and confit egg yolk. Open.

12 Colonel Saab, Trafalgar Square

The second, bigger location of the Holborn Indian restaurant. Look out for elaborate interiors filled with hand-collected art and artefacts and an all-day menu filled with nostalgic dishes, British and Indian afternoon teas, and a selection of tangy curries. Opens November 2.

This upmarket restaurant in a boutique, three-room hotel serves up Mediterranean and Japanese dishes. Created by the team behind chic east London cocktail bar MAP Maison and Map Petite Maison in Stockholm. Open.
