Located on the top floor of Stratford Shopping Centre, Roof East mixes the vibe of a festival with delectable street food, funky cocktails and oodles of entertainment.

It’s a playground, it’s a bar, it's a carpark turned rooftop bar, and it is back with more frills.

It offers classic games with a dash of glamour and quirk. There’s “Glitter Bowls” that combines lawn bowls and disco.

When you start building an appetite, Roof East has a host of street food options to calm the food pangs. Piddaji, the fan favourite Turkish stall, is back this year with its traditional boatshaped flatbreads called pide (pronounced Pea-deh) and shawarmas.

For lovers of fast food, Cheeky Burgers provides mouth-watering beef, chicken or vegan burgers.

Papi Chulo, an authentic Mexican food concept drawing inspirations from real street taquerias in Mexico, is the new addition to the food line up this year.

In addition, its five bars serve a selection of cocktails, along with other bar staples. The Britz Spritz, that adds elderflower, apple, fresh citrus, cucumber, prosecco to Beefeater gin is a must try.

The highlight of the venue is its cosy Rooftop Cinema that is perfect for a romantic date night.

With the picturesque views of London’s skyline and the Olympic Park in the background, the cinema will screen cult hits this year alongside blockbusters, new releases and special programming. The theme for the month of May will include Freaks and Geeks, and killer 90s soundtracks.

Also, Roof East hosts regular events like Jenga Championship, a Eurovision watch party, dance classes, and pub quizzes. The space can also be booked for exclusive celebrations and work shindigs.
