The Style & Spirit Edition of the new sales was on view that evening and the party was a great success.

Global luxury lifestyle group Quintessentially hosted The Feast of Albion at the Guildhall, an event that was a huge success and raised over £300,000 for The Soil Association. The organic and locally-sourced menu was created by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and the five-course banquet was cooked by Mark Hix. There was music from Annie Lennox and an auction, including a last minute lot from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, who threw in a sustainable sea fishing party on board Channel Chieftain, with a specialised sea-food cooking lesson by Hugh and Mark Hix. The prize went for £20,000 to musician Jamie Cullum.

The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hosted a glittering event to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rat. Grove Style Stars Fashion Show and Auction
Our sister magazine Grove recently celebrated Grove Style Stars fashion show and auction sponsored by Knight Frank supporting Octopus Challenge at The 20th Century Theatre. Nathaniel Parker – aka TV’s brooding Inspector Linley – introduced the event before models hit the catwalk in creations from the top Notting Hill designers of past, present and future. Guests quaffed champagne courtesy of Vineyards of France and tucked into canapés by Butter & Co. Music was provided by The Jay Scott Project. The event raised more than £6,000 for Octopus Challenge’s chosen charities, CancerBackup and The Shooting Star’s Children’s Hospice.
