IMAGINE WAKING UP TO THIS FABULOUS VIEW…

Imagine waking up to this view of the London Eye, right there in front of you, in all its majestic flight-of-fancy glory. Well now you can, with the launch of Belvedere Gardens, the latest offering at London’s newest residential quarter, Southbank Place

A large-scale redevelopment in central London is difficult to imagine, but Southbank Place, which surrounds the famous Shell Centre on London’s South Bank and has easy access to both Waterloo and Westminster stations, is just that.

The 5.25 acre site, masterminded by renowned luxury developers, Canary Wharf Group and Qatari Diar, features luxury, dual-aspect apartments with unparalleled river views of London’s most recognisable landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall and the London Eye (the buildings have been designed with the lift shafts at the rear, so that each apartment has a river view).

‘The rare character and setting of Southbank Place sets a new standard for mixed-use developments and creates an original new landmark destination that will enhance the London skyline and leave a lasting impression for years to come,’ said Khaled Al-Sayed, Group CEO, Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company.

‘The unique designs of Belvedere Gardens will be a wonderful addition to the elegant and refined buildings of Southbank Place and the visually striking exteriors are impeccably complemented by the incomparable views from within,’ he continues.

Southbank Place sits on the former home of The Festival of Britain, which is celebrated in the design of Belvedere Gardens. The visually striking exterior is inspired by the Festival of Britain emblem, the Festival Star, embossed and debossed across the façade, with the bronze colour, echoing the nearby Palace of Westminster.

With interiors exclusively designed by Goddard Littlefair and sophisticated architecture by GRID Architects, the 97 apartments are split over 20 levels, comprising, 23 one-bedrooms, 58 two-bedrooms, 13 three-bedrooms and one three-bedroom duplex, plus two penthouses, arranged across the 10 and 20 storey buildings. The luxurious living spaces have high-spec finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the spectacular skyline.

Southbank Place comprises 877 private units across five residential buildings. The development will include a new public square, in addition to more than 530,000 sq ft of office space and 48,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and hospitality space.

The show apartments, featuring luxury fixtures, fabrics and design layouts, have been created almost to scale in the marketing suite at County Hall building.
