Offering a huge array of gardens, greenhouses and plants from around the world, it’s a plant-lover's idea of paradise.
But even if you’re a regular visitor or have never been before, there are plenty of reasons to visit these historical gardens this summer.
Kew Gardens has announced a full line-up of summer events from live music festivals and concerts to family-friendly outdoor theatre.

Focus on you with a calendar of wellbeing activities
Over the summer from May until October, Kew Gardens will be hosting a range of wellbeing activities, starting with sound baths and Pilates in May.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy some yoga in the Temperate House, or explore the surrounds of Kew Gardens on a cycle trail or nature walk, there’s something for everyone this summer.
New for this year, Kew Gardens will also be hosting its first ever Joe Wicks Festival on July 7, which will feature the popular online fitness coach along with a line-up of fitness classes and wellbeing sessions to attend.
Dance the night away at Kew’s brand-new silent disco
Kew Gardens is set to host its first ever silent disco this June within the historic landmark of Kew’s Temperate House, famously known for being the world’s oldest surviving greenhouse.
For one evening on June 15, from 7 – 10:30pm, guests are invited to don a pair of wireless headphones and dance to a choice of three channels along with a line-up of guest DJs Xzan and Auntie Maureen to celebrate Pride Month.
Tickets start at £30 for an adult and the event is for adults aged 18 and over.
Watch a show at Kew’s outdoor theatre
Spend an afternoon or evening watching a show amidst the whimsical surrounds of Kew Gardens.
From July 29 until September 1, Kew Gardens will be hosting a line-up of whimsical theatre shows in collaboration with the Australian Shakespeare Company, with classics to suit all ages including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wind in the Willows, and The Dream Fairies – Adventure to Bubble Land.
Prices start at £23.75 for an adult, £17.90 for a child, £18.90 for concessions and carers are admitted free of charge.
Watch some star music acts at the weeklong July music festival
For a week from July 8 until July 14, Kew Gardens will be hosting a summer music festival with a line-up of acts including Ronan Keating, Passenger, Beverley Knight and Mika, along with guest talks from Gardener’s World star Monty Don.
Ticket prices vary depending on the act starting at £58.50 for adults and £37.88 for children.
Enjoy a candlelit music concert at Kew’s oldest glasshouse
If you love live music and opulent surroundings, Kew Gardens is set to host a calendar of live music events hosted within the Nash Conservatory – Kew’s oldest glasshouse.
From jazz to classical, the summer concerts will feature a range of performances from acts such as The Hygge Trio and London Session Quartet all by candlelight.
