Win Two Weekend Tickets to OnBlackheath 2017

The Resident has teamed up with OnBlackheath to offer one lucky reader a pair of weekend tickets, worth £90 each, for south east London’s biggest festival this September!

OnBlackheath festival, in partnership with John Lewis, returns on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September 2017 with headliners Travis and The Libertines alongside De La Soul, Jake Bugg, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and KT Tunstall.

Headlining the main stage on Saturday is Travis, with a UK festival exclusive performance of their hit album The Man Who, followed by indie rockers The Libertines on Sunday.

OnBlackheath has established itself as a landmark event in the London festival calendar with the likes Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Elbow, Madness, Manic Street Preachers and Primal Scream taking to the stage since the much-lauded event launched in 2014.

Last year over 25,000 music fans, food lovers and families gathered to enjoy the two-day festival. As well as live music, OnBlackheath offers up a great array of gourmet feasting opportunities. Head to the John Lewis Food Village for award-winning street food, communal dining, guest chefs and pop-up restaurants. Curated by MasterChef finalist and private chef Tony Rodd, expect exciting cookery demonstrations from fellow MasterChef winners Jane Devonshire and Gary Maclean.

There’s also a fun-filled programme of family entertainment, with everything from adventure areas to an egg-and-spoon race to appearances by We’re Going on a Bear Hunt author Michael Rosen, children’s classic entertainer Basil Brush, who appeared at Glastonbury this year, and comedian and writer Julian Clary.

‘OnBlackheath is about music, food and family entertainment,’ says Tom Wates, co-founder of OnBlackheath. ‘We all have kids of our own so we always want to make sure the children are having as much fun as our older guests.’
