London’s Instagrammable New Tea Room Serves ‘Evening Tea’

The scrumptious Butterscotch Bakery has launched its second home of in London with the new Butterscotch Tea Room in Marylebone. Not only is it fabulously Instagrammable, it also serves an ‘Evening Tea’ with cocktails… 

The new opening on James Street, which launched on 5 March 2018, is split over two floors; the first is home to a relaxed cafe space, perfect for on-the-go coffee, cakes and Bea’s signature bakes alongside the second instalment of Bea’s Goldilocks porridge bar.

Upstairs is the afternoon tea room, a space adorned with white marble tables, a hand-made paper flower wall feature and tones of copper, gold and rose gold.

Here you can enjoy a selection of sandwiches such as Roasted Cherry Tomato, Buffalo Mozzarella with Basil infused Olive Oil and Za’Atar Huumus with Roasted Bell Pepper and Rocket (afternoon tea starts from £22.50).

Night owls will appreciate the Jasmine Evening Tea with Bakewell Fizz Prosecco cocktails plus charcuterie and cheese plates

Sweet treats including a Vegan Chocolate Mousse Pot and a Red Velvet Cupcake with Mascarpone Cream Cheese Frosting, a selection of mini meringues, brownies and freshly baked madeleines, as well as freshly baked scones served with Cornish clotted cream and jam.

Night owls will certainly appreciate the Jasmine Evening Tea, served from 6pm-10pm with Bakewell Fizz Prosecco cocktails, a prosecco twist on the classic Negroni plus charcuterie and cheese plates and crostini.
