Looking for a festive feast with friends or planning to ditch the cooking and head out on Christmas Day? Some of London’s top restaurant are offering festive menus with all the trimmings for stress-free Christmas dining…

1 Hotel Café Royal, Soho
The Ten Room at the Hotel Café Royal will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in order to make all of your Christmas dreams come true. The set menu consists of festive dishes like the Bresse duck ‘ham’ with green beans to start. The mains include an option of the Slow cook ed fillet and haunch of venison or the Roast Norfolk Bronze Turkey with Chestnut stuffing. The Ten Room Christmas menu is priced at £85pp. The Domino room at Hotel Café Royal will offer a more intimate setting, with a five-course lunch created by Head Chef Armand Sablon, serving traditional British festive dishes such as the Roast Norfolk Bronze turkey with Chestnut stuffing as well as the Slow Cooked fillet and Haunch of Venison. Complete with assorted cheese, Christmas pudding and coffee with mince pies, the meal could not be more perfect. The Christmas lunch menu at the Domino room is priced £175pp.

2 Smith & Wollensky, the Strand
Smith & Wollensky has been serving up the finest steak in America since it opened its doors in New York in 1977. In 2015, Smith & Wollensky launched its first London site in the historic Grade II-listed Adelphi Building just off the Strand, and is now offering up a festive feast that swaps the traditional turkey for lashings of red meat. Priced at £58pp, the three-course feast features a Creole Braised Short Rib of Beef and three cuts of steak (Irish Fillet, USDA Prime Sirloin and USDA Prime Dry-Aged Bone-In Rib-Eye – each requires a supplementary spend), as well as a vegetarian Beetroot Wellington, Pan-Fried Stone Bass and, of course, a Norfolk Bronze Turkey.

3 Duck and Waffle, the City
On Christmas Day from 11.30am to 4 pm, Duck and Waffle is opening its doors to serve up a festive feast to those who’ve eschewed a day slaving away in a hot kitchen. At £85pp, the set menu consists of bacon wrapped dates and celeriac and truffle soup to start before moving onto braised short rib with turnip and green sauce. To further ensure the guest won’t leave hungry, the chocolate fondant with peanut butter ganache ends the meal on a sweet and satisfying note. In addition, the vegetarian menu provides a tasty meal enticing both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. With options such as crispy polenta and Jerusalem artichoke ravioli with caramelized cauliflower, Christmas feast is reinvented to be so much more than turkey and stuffing.

4 Rosewood London, Holborn
Head over to the Holborn Dining Room at the Rosewood this Christmas Day and enjoy starters such as the potted foie gras, baked lobster thermidor tart and the wild smoked salmon with devon crab. Classic mains include the roast Norfolk bronze turkey with all the fixings, the wild sea bass or the 35 day dry aged ribeye ‘club cut’. Desserts include options like spiced custard tart with eggnog ice cream and the Valrhona chocolate fondant. Head Chef Calum Franklin has also cultivated a special addition to the menu; a pate en croute made up of turkey, smoked back bacon, Madeira, dried cranberries, and pistachios. The Christmas Day menu is priced £135pp.

5 Tozi, Victoria
Head to Tozi in Victoria for a Venetian-Italian themed Christmas dinner. Specialising in small plates created for sharing, Tozi’s Christmas Day menu puts a fun twist on the traditional Christmas meal. The set menu, priced £60pp, has features small dishes such as artichokes with prawns and squid fritto, and buffalo ricotta ravioli with black truffle, as well as impressive main courses like the roasted cod in a basil crust with parsnip purée and grilled radicchio, and the duck breast with cavalo nero and pomegranite jus. For dessert, choose from warm panettone with mascarpone cream, Bufala camembert with tomato jam or a sorbet selection.

6 Lanes of London, Mayfair
Lanes of London, located in Mayfair, is providing two menus to choose from this Christmas season. The first being their three-course Carvery menu (£39pp) consisting of favorites like the smoked salmon roulade, chicken liver parfait and the traditional Christmas turkey. The Premium Carvery menu (£50pp) is offering crab tartar, beetroot gravlox salmon and monkfish fricassee in addition. Dessert options for both menus include Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, Valrhona 70% dark and milk chocolate dome with passion fruit coulis, blackberry sorbet or poached pear in red wine star anise whisky ice cream for dessert. Both are available throughout December and on Christmas Day.

7 Thali, Kensington 
Spice up your Christmas meal at Thali this December. The North Indian restaurant in Kensington, favoured by celebrities, has cultivated a Christmas menu emphasising their strengths; meat. Enjoy some of their favorite dishes including Tandoori Rabbit cooked with anise pepper, whole tandoori partridge marinated in masala and dill and Honey Lemon Duck. Head Chef Dila Ram focuses on enhancing regional flavors and is using traditional methods paired with his creativity to present unique and flavorful dishes. From 20 November to 24 December, Thali will have Christmas specials such as spiced haddock fillet, stuffed aubergines with cashew, coconut and tamarind and Banarasi panner samosa.

8 Hunter 486 The Arch London, Marble Arch
The Arch London’s restaurant, Hunter 486, is serving a series of seasonal dishes on its dedicated Festive Menu priced £35pp. Starters will include starters like Warm Salt Beef Salad with Caper Dressing and Burford Brown Egg, as well as Salt Baked Heritage Beets with Whipped Goat’s Curdhes. Mains include Fillet of Stone Bass, Sesame Greens, Lemongrass and Ginger Broth, as well as Roast Norfolk Turkey, Chestnut Stuffing, Roast Potatoes and all the trimming, plus a vegetarian option of Wild Mushroom and Truffle Tortellini. On Christmas Day itself, you can enjoy traditional favourites such as Lobster, Prawn and Crab Cocktail followed by a Taittinger Prestige Brut Rosé Sorbet and then a Roast Norfolk Turkey with all the trimmings, plus Christmas Pudding and Truffled Tunworth Brie with Walnut Bread and mince pies. £90pp (vegetarian menu also available).

9 Percy & Founders, Fitzrovia
This Christmas Percy & Founders is pulling out all the stops, from festive cocktails and a DJ to a decadent four course meal. Available on Christmas Day from 12pm-8pm, the menu includes rich starters like the Dressed lobster and prawn on toast and mains like the Roast Free Range Turkey Breast and Confit Leg and the Roasted Stone Bass. Choose from an array of puddings and cheeses if you have any room left after this great feast. The Christmas Day menu is priced at £85 per person and includes a glass of NV Billecart-Salmon, Brut Réserve Champagne on arrival. The Christmas set menu, which is available for group bookings from Wednesday 22 November to Sunday 24 December, includes starters such as Duck Leg Pâté and Mulled Cider Cured Trout. Mouth watering mains include the Roast Pumpkin Spelt Risotto and the Venison Loin. Finally finish the meal with a choice of decadent puddings. The Christmas Set Menu is priced at £52.

10 Devonshire Club, the City
Nestled in an elegant square in the heart of the City, Devonshire Club will be hosting one of London’s most decadent Christmases. Firstly, its wonderfully extravagant seven-course festive menu will boast caviar, lobster and Kobe beef alongside carefully selected wines and Cognacs for £1,000 per person. There are also slightly les extravagant Christmas menu options ranging from £65 to £95pp. The Club’s Champagne Bar is also launching its own bespoke Caviar Station.

11 Market Brassiere, North Greenwich
Enjoy Christmas with a view of the London skyline at Market Brassiere at the InterContinental London at the O2 this year. The Christmas Buffet and Christmas Dinner Menu has a variety of delicious options including starters like tartar of smoked Norwegian salmon with ‘Mujjol’ caviar and cured Barbary duck breast. Meaty mains include medallions of turkey breast stuffed with apricot and chestnut, and garlic roasted rack of lamb, as well as the vegetarian open raviolis with ragout of pumpkin. Priced £40pp, the meal concludes with traditional desserts such as Christmas pudding and chocolate cremeaux.

12 Min Jiang, Kensington 
Why not swap the traditional turkey for some exotic Beijing Duck? Located on the 10th floor of the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, Min Jiang offers authentic Chinese cuisine with a view spectacular view of Kensington Palace Gardens and the city skyline. The restaurant is offering a seven-course festive feast with a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes from £90 per person. Diners can also pre-order Min Jiang’s legendary Beijing Duck, prepared by chefs from Beijing according to an ancient recipe and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The traditional dish is presented in two servings and diners are treated to a culinary display as specially-trained chefs carve it at the table (an additional £33 for a half duck, £60 whole).

13 Smokestak, Shoreditch
This Christmas Season, Smokestak is offering two festive menus. The Festive Sharing Menu is £35pp and includes a drink and canapes on arrival, starters of pastrami, pickles, mustard and dill plus salt-baked beetroot, goat cheese, hazelnuts, plus a main of thick-cut pork rib with pickled cucumber, beef brisket and mustard barbecue. Dessert is salted caramel ice cream with hazelnut praline. There’s also a Festive Feasting Menu for £45pp with even more juicy cuts on offer, including a 30-day dry aged beef rib. 14 London Shell Co, Regent’s Canal
London Shell Co, the floating restaurant aboard The Prince Regent canal boat, is offering one-of-a-kind cruising dining experiences throughout December. Catering to just 30 diners at a time, London Shell Co is welcoming guests on the bow of the boat with a glass of sparkling wine, before inviting them inside into the cosy warmth to for an intimate lunch and dinner cruise on the Regent’s Canal. The lunch time menu (£35pp, 12.30pm-2pm) will consist of four courses: Oysters & Fries, Cured Char & Confit Egg Yolk, Butter Poached Hake, Jerusalem Artichokes, Black Cabbage & Hazelnuts, and finally, Clementine, Pomegranate & Madeira Trifle. The six-course dinner (£55pp, 7.30pm-10pm) includes a couple of extra courses: a Langoustine Cocktail and Colston Basset, Dry Figs, Walnuts & Crackers.

15 Rabbit, Chelsea & The Shed, Notting Hill
Acclaimed Chelsea restaurant Rabbit and its sister venue The Shed in Notting Hill are offering three Christmas menus this year – the main menu, a vegetarian menu and a pescatarian menu. The vegetarian menu includes bites like endive with artichoke mud and thyme, sharing plates of black truffle and manor farm cheddar fondue, and roasted black carrot brioche hotdog, as well as prime cuts like salt baked turnips, red cabbage, chestnuts, cranberries and tahini. The main menu features grilled Sussex venison with mushroom duxelles, black cabbage, reindeer moss and a Somerset cider brandy jus, while the pescatarian menu includes hand dived scallop with white balsamic caviar. The newest addition to the Gladwin Brothers family, the Nutbourne in Battersea, is serving a set-course menu for £28pp that offers up a range of veggie, pescatarian and carnivorous dishes.

16 Riding House Café, Fitzrovia & Village East, Bermondsey
Sister restaurants Riding House Café and Village East will be open all day on Christmas Day, welcoming merry-goes from noon until 6pm. Priced at £75, both restaurants are offering Christmas Feast menus including the likes of London-cured salmon with confit lemon, pickled cucumber, radish and chive vinagerette to start, and roast turkey with all the trimmings for the main affair (or roast Brixham cod with clams, creamed cabbage and red wine sauce, if you fancy something different). For dessert, try the sticky toffee pudding with banana ice cream and candied chips, or opt for a more traditional offering. The menus are also available during December priced at £50, and at Riding House Cafe, you can also enjoy a Christmas Eve or Boxing Day brunch (see the website for details).

17 La Poule au Pot, Belgravia
Spice up the traditional Christmas meal with a French twist at La Poule au Pot. The Belgravia-based French restaurant’s Christmas menu will be served throughout December, Monday to Friday, from 12pm to 6pm, until Sunday, 24 December. The French delicacies served range from Smoked Salmon Roulade stuffed with Crab to the Roasted Guinea Fowl. Finish the special meal with an all time favorite, the Crème Brûlée. Priced at £32.50 for three courses, La Poule au Pot is a cant miss this Christmas season.

18 8 Hoxton Square, Hoxton
Choose from two Christmas Menus at 8 Hoxton Square. The three-course menu (£30pp) offers starters like venison carpaccio with pickled beetroot, mains like pheasant breast or grilled sea bass with cauliflower, and desserts like Christmas rice pudding or quince and almond tart. The Feast Menu (£50pp) includes a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee on arrival, a selection of season starters and a main course for the group to share; choose between venison with potato galette, kale, chestnuts and cranberry or crown of turkey with all the trimmings. The feast concludes with a selection of tasty Christmas treats and cheeses.

19 Maggie Jones, Kensington
Head over to Maggie Jones and enjoy a cosy Christmas meal at the beloved Kensington spot. Known for its traditional approach to good food, Maggie Jones makes you feel at home while celebrating with your loved ones. The three-course Christmas lunch menu includes hearty options such as Maggie’s creamed fish pie, grilled salmon, roasted turkey with all of the trimmings, roast rump of loin and more. Enjoy delicious desert favorites such as Maggie’s apple crumble or bread and butter pudding. The Christmas lunch menu is available until 24 December from Monday to Saturday,12pm to 2pm, and is priced £30pp.

20 Swingers, the City
Swingers, the Crazy Golf Club, is offering a more laid back option for those who put their putters before their formal dining affairs! Choose from three different street food vendors, all offering up festive options. Patty & Bun is providing a limited-edition Smoke Cheese Everyday burger. An aged beef patty topped with beef shin ragu, smoked cheese, smokey P&B mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions and ketchup on a brioche bun. The DF/MEXICO is offering a twist on your usual Christmas meal with their Chile Beef taco, packed with slow cooked beef marinated in ancho chile and aromatic Christmas spices, fresh slaw, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado mojo salsa and sour cream. Every Christmas meal needs desert and Pizza Pilgrims has the perfect thing to satisfy your sweet tooth – the Mincemeat Calzone, an original twist on a mince pie.
