1 The Shed and The Rabbit
Acclaimed Chelsea restaurant Rabbit and its sister venue in Notting Hill, The Shed, are offering a vegan only menu to run alongside their traditional meaty option. The vegan menu is created for those not wishing to tuck into turkey but crave some yuletide treats nonetheless. The vegan festive feast will include endive with artichoke mud and thyme, beetroot crisps with pear and sorrel and an oak smoked potato with quince. The menu goes on to include sharing plates of black truffle and manor farm cheddar fondue, comice pair and sourdough soldiers roasted black carrot. The prime cuts consist of salt baked turnips and wild mushroom ragu, filling in as a substantial substitute for the traditional turkey dinner. Additionally, if you have left room for a sweet ending to the feast, the menu includes a variety of deserts including lemon curd and the magnum Viennetta parfait.

2 Christmas feast at Smith & Wollensky
Smith & Wollensky has been serving up the finest steak in America since it opened its doors in New York in 1977. Last year, Smith & Wollensky launched its first London site in the historic Grade II-listed Adelphi Building just off the Strand, and is now offering up its first festive menu. This Christmas, the restaurant is offering a three-course feast featuring an array of meat and seafood dishes and priced at £58 per person. It’s for all of those wishing to swap the traditional turkey for lashings of delicious red meat. Ranging from Beetroot Wellington to Roast Free-Range Norfolk Bronze Turkey, this meal unites meat lovers and vegetarians alike. When it comes to desert, the menu allows each person to choose two of their liking from a list of delicious treats including baked cherry sponge and old Irish Christmas pudding.

3 Gunpowder
This year, each of the twelve days of Christmas will be extra special at Gunpowder Restaurant. On 12 December and each day leading up to the 25th, Head Chef Nirmal Save will be showcasing a one-night-only festive special. Gunpowder has put its unique twist on a selection of dishes that combine the distinctive Indian flavours and home-style cooking of the restaurant with classic Christmas favourites. Expect to try a Bengal Spiced Root Vegetable Parcel with crispy coriander or their Goose Pepper Fry on a rice doughnut, Kosbadi Rabbit Masala and Wild Mushroom Bharva Mirch. 4 The Cinnamon Club
Set within the exquisite surroundings of the Grade II-listed Old Westminster Library, The Cinnamon Club has an array of private rooms to host the perfect Christmas gathering. The team has compiled six separate festive menus for guests to choose from, the meals range from £35 to £75 per person. If you’re feeling especially festive, the signature Cinnamon Bellini and Aromatic Fire are sure to ensure that you enjoy your Christmas meal. On Christmas Day, opt for a four-course Indian-inspired feast for £100 per person. Start with Keralan style lobster soup flamed with cognac, Tandoori breast of Scottish pheasant with soola masala or Roast Kentish lamb fillet with nutmeg. For the main course, the courses vary from vegetarian options such as hyderabadi style biryani of root vegetables with boorani raita to the meaty option consisting of slow-braised Herdwick milk-fed lamb shoulder.

5 The Wright Brothers
Especially for Christmas, seafood and oyster specialist The Wright Brothers is serving some ultra-indulgent feasts at their Soho and Spitalfields restaurants. The menus feature starters like tempura prawn with sriracha mayonnaise & kimchi, Sea bass ceviche, and roasted Delica pumpkin with creamed goats’ curd. Main courses such as the remarkably fresh whole roasted market fish of the day and the seafood stew consisting of an array of seafood including salmon, mussels and tiger prawns live up to the Wright Brothers exceptional seafood reputation. Guests can opt to dine in the giant Lobster Cage for up to 18 guests, a unique semi-private dining area located on the lower-ground floor surrounded by an open kitchen. 6 108 Brasserie
108 Brasserie in Marylebone is celebrating the holidays with a decadent Christmas Day menu. Executive Chef Russell Ford is cooking up a five-course feast for £105 per person. Choose from a selection of classic British dishes and seasonal delights including the crab and spring onion risotto and the light and refreshing burrata that sits atop a heritage carrot salad. Main entrees such as the Caldecott farm free range bronze turkey is served with traditional Christmas sides like stuffing and cranberry jelly. Decadent desserts and cheese will also be served as a part of the meal. The Christmas Day Menu is available on Saturday 25 December from 12noon-10.30pm. You can also enjoy the Festive Afternoon Tea up until Christmas Eve for just £28 per person. The Christmas Party menu priced at two course for £52 and three courses for £58 is full of rich luxurious foods such as the Frealy farm smoked duck to start. Main courses like the chestnut gnocci and the beer braised beef cheek complete the festive meal. Traditional deserts like the plum pudding are often paired with tea, coffee and mince pies.

7 Bluebird
Developed by Executive Chef Liam Smith-Laing, Bluebird Chelsea’s Christmas Day menu will produce the traditional Christmas meal with a creative spin on it. The roasted pumpkin velouté with foie gras and the ham hock terrine with clementine marmalade starts off the meal with a bang. The feast continues with choices from the sea to the more traditional meaty meal, these main courses include sea bass with shellfish and tarragon veloute as well as roast Norfolk bronze turkey with sprouts and roasted vegetables. Following the meal, traditional deserts will make you feel right at home while at Bluebird, they include options such as Christmas pudding with brandy custard and profiteroles with salted caramel and cinnamon ice cream. The menu is priced at £100 per person and £45 for children.

8 Diciannove
For the merry month of December, Diciannove is serving a choice of two Christmas menus created by head chef Alessandro Bay, who spent 10 years crafting his skills under Giorgio Locatelli. The Piccolo Menu priced at £37 offers creative starters such as the duck and orange pâté and the vegetation option of pumpkin soup with crushed amaretto biscuits and balsamic vinegar. Similarly, the main courses provide three dietary inclusive options such as the paupiette of turkey with a carrot purée and roasted potatoes, the pan fried salmon with sautéed spinach and the vegetarian option of conchiglie pasta with red pepper pesto and basil. The Grande Menu, priced at £42, places emphasis on sharing with the Il Supremo Italian meat and cheese platter. Main courses that ensure your desire for a true Christmas meal will be satisfied are the slow cooked lamb bathed in a red wine sauce with mashed potatoes and the monkfish prepared with roasted potatoes and a yellow pepper purée. The Christmas menu is served until 23 December.

9 Balans Soho Society
The grande dame of Old Compton Street will be flinging open it’s doors and welcoming all those for whom the festive season is more about ‘craic’ than ‘cracker’. The restaurant ensures their customers of a night filled with sumptuous meals and cabinets full of yuletide drinks. Enjoy three courses for £30, starting with the roast winter vegetable soup and smoked almond brie is sure to make you feel warm and cozy on the winter night. 10 Min Jiang
Why not swap the traditional turkey for some exotic Beijing Duck? Located on the 10th floor of the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, Min Jiang offers authentic Chinese cuisine with a view spectacular view of Kensington Palace Gardens and the city skyline. The restaurant is offering a seven-course festive feast with a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes from £90 per person. Diners can also pre-order Min Jiang’s legendary Beijing Duck, prepared by chefs from Beijing according to an ancient recipe and cooked in a wood-fired oven. The traditional dish is presented in two servings and diners are treated to a culinary display as specially-trained chefs carve it at the table (an additional £33 for a half duck, £60 whole).

11 Comptoir Libanais
The Lebanese canteen that offers fresh, affordable Middle Eastern cuisine with flair has created a festive menu with a twist for their Kingston branch. Enjoy a healthy spread of Lebanese mezze to share, followed by a choice of main and a selection of baklawa (authentic sweet pastries) and fresh rose mint tea, all for just £22.95 per person. The main courses are just as unique and delicious as the starters; options include meals like the lamb kofta tagine and seabass sayadieh. The Middle Eastern Feast, priced at £29.95 per person values the same family style sharing, starting with mezze spreads such as beetroot hummos and turkey kibbeh. 12 Ceviche Old Street
Ceviche Old Street, housed in what was once the legendary and now fully restored Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms, is celebrating the festivities this year with dancing, live music and of course delicious food. Their theme this holiday season is Exotica, inspired by Martin Denny’s album, the restaurant is being redesigned by set designer Hebe George to adorn Polynesian flowers and tropical plants to transport you to your own personal vacation in the heart of London. In addition to the remarkable scenery, Ceviche’s food will not disappoint. The festive exclusive menu additions include chilli cured swordfish, lamb rump with carapulcra potatoes and the classic Don Ceviche.

13 Town House at The Kensington
Town House at The Kensington is spread across three classically designed drawing rooms, serving locally-sourced, seasonal modern British cuisine. Town House is celebrating the festive season with a three-course Christmas Day menu prepared by Executive Chef Steve Gibbs at £95 per person. Enjoy a glass of Ridgeview Cavendish Brut on arrival for £11.50 per person then, to start choose from the likes of Devonshire sirloin steak and potted crab with pickled cucumber. 14 Busaba
Ignite the senses with Busaba’s festive dishes created by Executive Chef Jude Sangsida. Deemed as a festive extravaganza, Busba is the place to go for those in need of an exciting and delicious Christmas meal.The Khristmas Party menu is a set menu including a snack of prawn crackers or crispy seaweed, choice of small plate and main, plus unlimited rice or fries for £23 per person. The Khristmas Feast menu, priced at £28 per person, has extensive options of Bangkok’s best meals. Hunter 486 restaurant at The Arch London, one of the city’s finest contemporary boutique hotels, is offering an elegant three-course Christmas lunch or dinner menu. Enjoy dishes like the herb rolled tuna with picked baby vegetables, the roast Norfolk turkey with traditional accompaniments and the wild mushroom and truffle tortellini. The Hunter Festive menu is priced at £35 per person and available until 30 December. On Christmas Day, guests can also enjoy a lavish five-course Christmas menu followed by tea, coffee and mince pies for £90 per person.
