Festive Feels at the Tanqueray No Ten Treehouse at Oblix

If you’re looking for a fun place to visit for a cocktail or two over the festive period, then don’t miss the No Ten Treehouse at Oblix East at the Shard.

Thirty two floors above London with killer views of Tower Bridge and the city, this fun five-week pop-up offers guests the chance to drink and dine in the heart of a treehouse.

Visitors enter via a fairy grotto archway, festooned with leafy vines and lights before they get to the bar. Here, among a buzzing dressed-up crowd, you can choose from the main drinks menu or the special Tanqueray cocktail list.

Seated in a cosy spot overlooking the sparkling lights of London, we tried out a few of the cocktails including the cool Firefly cocktail, a heady mix of lime, lemongrass, Tanqueray, sparkling wine and luminous foam and our favourite, the Dandelion & Burdock Collins, that comes with a fun lips lollipop.

You can also chow down on some very tasty bar snacks too from the Oblix East kitchen. The Fried Squid and Black Cod and Smoked Haddock Croquettes are totally moreish and work really well with the gin cocktails.

Whether you’re looking for a cool place to meet a friend or you’ve bagged yourself a pre-Christmas date (lucky you!), the No. Ten Treehouse is a great choice. Just be sure to book a table as it’s very popular.

No. Ten Treehouse at Oblix East is open until 27 December 2017 at The Shard, 31 St Thomas Street SE1 9RY; oblixrestaurant.com
