6 Après Ski Pop-Up Bars in London

The trouble with après-ski is that it usually requires a trip to the Alps. And a day of arduous skiing beforehand. Well, not anymore. London’s good-time virtuosos have introduced après-ski to the capital – check out these cool alpine-inspired pop-ups

1 Balham Peaks, The Devonshire
Ski season has arrived at The Devonshire in Balham, or at least the boozy après-ski bit has. With five covered and heated chalets, the season of hot toddies and fondue is on! Tuck into a Swiss Alps Burger or Balham Wurst with sides of sweet potato fries and a melted gruyere cheese topping and lubricate with mulled wine or cider, a winter Negroni or The Nutcracker Espresso Martini. Packages for 10 begin at just £4.45 per person and include a round of apres-ski-inspired shots with a choice of Jäger or toffee vodka. Upgrade your package with cheese or chocolate fondue, and urns of mulled wine or rum punch, as well as gin tastings, cocktail masterclasses and even a silent disco.
